The Second Woe Revelation 9:12-21

To see Revelation 9:12-21 without my comments click HERE.

The Second woe was sounded. (The Bible describes the last three trumpets as woes because of the curses put upon the inhabitants of the earth); Revelation 8:13. A voice then sounded from the Golden alter commanded the sixth Angel with the trumpet to “Loose the four angles which are bound in the great rive Euphrates.” Revelation 9:13-14
The Bible does not specifically state who these four angels are. I have read a couple of varying opinions to their identity. One specific idea is that the four angels (Cherubims) are the angels that guarded the tree of life in the Garden of Eden; Genesis 3:24. If this idea or concept is correct then that would mean that the Tree of Life, and the Garden of Eden for that matter, was located at, or in, the present location of the Euphrates river. Although I do think the Garden of Eden was very close to this location, I have reservations believing this is the correct meaning, and I am just putting it out there so that other people can make up their own mind on this subject.

What I think I can safely share about these four angels is that they are the very same angels of Revelation 7:1 that were set in motion to begin destroying the earth before they were abruptly stopped by another angel of an unknown name. Admittedly it's speculation and conjecture on my behalf but, I believe the angel that stopped these four angels in Revelation 7:1 and later is to bind Satan in Revelation 20:1-2 is named Abaddon or Apollyon, according to Revelation 9:11.
According to the book Pilgrims progress, the author wrongfully refers to Apollyon as Satan in his epic battle with Christian.
.
When these four angels were set loose their mission was to torment and destroy 1/3 of the humanoid unrepentant occupying the earth during a given 150 day period using a 200 million man army of horsemen. The physical description of these horsemen according to Revelation 9:17 is: “...them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.”

Verses18and19 go on to state that men were killed by fire, smoke, and brimstone coming from their mouths, and had power in their tails to hurt. A parallel passage describing these horsemen in more detail is found in Joel 2:4-10.

It's a matter of opinion from whence these horsemen came. Some believe that they are a literal, physical, and temporal army that comes from the modern armies of the world with their war machines being described by John the author of Revelation in the vernacular of his day. I have a hard time believing this to be the case because it's the unrighteous that are being destroyed by this army and if the unrighteous are controlling the planet at the time, then would it make sense that the unrighteous are destroying the unrighteous? Another piece of the puzzle is the fact that the Bible does not state that this army came from the same “bottomless pit” of Revelation 9:1. So to me it would make more sense to believe this army is a spiritual army consisting of angels. If you have a different opinion then feel free to leave a comment.

The Bible states that after all the death and destruction that came from the direction of the Messiah, they still did not repent of their murders, sorceries, their fornication, nor of their thefts. Modern contemporary thought will simply explain away these events to global warming or some other idea given over to a make believe boogeyman to frighten people and to get them to follow the leaders of that time. The people who rule the planet know that when people are afraid they will follow anyone. A basic example of what I am talking about is if someone was being chased by a gang of animals and an unknown person pulls up next to you in a vehicle and says “if you want to live then get in”, most people will follow the instructions and jump into a car with a stranger and not use their God given faith to discern if the driver of the car is actually with the gang of animals chasing them or not.

I pray that all will study the scriptures daily to distinguish the difference between fear and faith, because the Bible makes it clear. You either have one, or you have the other.

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but, whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Proverbs 29:25

Make sure you pray to the Father daily and thank him for your blessings to include your faith that overcomes fear.

The First Woe Revelation 9:1-11

To see Revelation Chapter 9:1-11 without my comments click HERE.

"And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key to the bottomless pit." Revelation 9:1

In Revelation 9:1 we read about a star falling from Heaven that was given the key to the Bottomless Pit. All the Bible commentaries that I have looked at have stated that this “star” as we know it, is described as Isaiah 14:12, which would be “Lucifer, son of the morning.” Although it may very well be, I am not absolutely convinced because for one reason it doesn't mention this “star's” name specifically. It's also worth noting that this entity is only punishing the unrighteous for the deaths of the righteously slain of Revelation 6:10. And yet another point is that this entity receives the Keys of Death from the Messiah which possesses them according to; Revelation 1:18. So, if I was writing a commentary, I would describe this star as being “a Death Angel” regardless of who it is or what it's name simply because it's described as such in Strong's Concordance numbers 3 and 623. The death angel possessed the keys to death and to the eternally deep grave that can hold many multitudes.

The star that fell to earth had the Key To the Bottomless pit. This “key” gave the death angel the ability to take lives. This key is also the opposite of the key of David that refers to the authority of the Messiah that leads directly to the Father, compare to Revelation 3:7, and is a directly quoted from Isaiah 22:22. The Father didn't want the unrighteous to get off that easy by simply dying, and wanted them to be tortured. He commanded this entity to not destroy the plants of the earth, as 1/3 of the plant life had already been destroyed in; Revelation 8:7, and to bypass the righteous that had Father Yahweh's had sealed, (the 144,000).

Although this torturing of the unrighteous by the Messiah indirectly may sound evil, which it is and it's also a Biblical concept; Isaiah 45:7. Remember, the only Christians that are on earth at this time, are the ones that already have gone through the Great Tribulation and have been sealed by following the Father's laws.
The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. Deuteronomy 28:7 (the blessings and curses chapter)

The fallen star released demonic entities from the bottomless pit that looked like locusts that he commanded to attack the unrighteous. It's my opinion that the locusts were actually demons and were under the control of “the fallen star”; Revelation 9:11. It clearly states in Proverbs 30:27 that the locusts have no king. If this to be true, then these are not any ordinary locusts and are actually guided by something specific.

The sting of these “locusts” are compared to the sting of scorpions. Scorpions stings usually immobilize the victim and they usually just lay in bed afterward and wish they could just simply die to be relieved from the pain; Revelation 9:6. So these locusts will pack a wallop.

The time to obey Yahweh's laws and to be sealed is now.
O how I have loved thy law, oh Lord! It is my meditation all the day.
Psalms 118:97

The Trumpets Of Revelation 8: 6-13

To see Revelation 8:6-13 without my comments click HERE.

In the last post, the Great Tribulation ended which is the testing of the faith for Israel's elect. The elect of Israel are the 144,000 who's minds are mentally incorruptible and are steeped in the eternal verities of God's word and his laws. They have a rock hard basis that they have built their faith upon and therefore are not likely to be deceived; Matthew 24:24. Then there was a time of silence when the Messiah having a censer that contained the prayers of the saints, cast it into the earth. This event could be looked at as being payback time for the wicked that shed the blood of Yah's children during the Fifth Seal; Revelation 6:9-10. The Seven Angels prepared to blow the trumpets of doom. Although there are horrific events that happen next, the first four trumps only amount to warning shots across the bow.

The first four trumpets
There are some people that think they hear trumpets in the air today believe it's a warning sign that events are coming to earth. I have never personally heard these noises, nor do I personally know anyone that has, So I will not comment on them either way. Trumpets in the Bible are used for warning people of impeding disaster. The Seven trumps of this chapter can be compared to the Seven Trumpets of Joshua5:13-6:27 when the walls of Jericho were collapsed. The results of these trumpets bring curses to the non-elect, or non-Israelites and mirror the curses brought upon Egypt by the Prophet Moses except for the flies, lice, and frogs in Exodus7:20-21. The Non-Israelites are those who are not of the line of Jacob/Israel, or are of Jacob/Israel's line that have hardened their heart against Father Yahweh; Romans9:6, also See the parable of the lost son to understand the forgiving nature of our heavenly Father, praise Yahweh!; Luke15:11-32.

The First Angel sounded his trumpet, then there was hail and fire that fell from the sky mixed with blood upon the earth. I believe that the hail and fire from the sky landing on people on the earth produced the blood. A third of the trees and grass were burnt upon contact from the fire from the sky.

The Second Angel then sounded his trumpet and a burning mountain fell from the sky into the sea and one-third of the creatures in the sea in one-third of the sea died, this part of the sea became blood. One-third of the worlds ships were destroyed also in this oceanic event. I once heard there are approximately 50,000 merchant ships registered globally, so we are looking at at least 15,000 ships to be destroyed in one day.

The Third Angel sounded next, and a great star fell to earth effecting the rivers and waters of the deep. This star named “Wormwood” made the waters undrinkable. Wormwood is also the name of a plant that is very bitter. Interesting enough, the word “wormwood” when translated into Russian, is “Chernobyl” which is where the famous nuclear reactor meltdown took place. The meaning of these words may be just a coincidence but regardless, I believe that this falling “star” will effect the nuclear reactors of the planet by shaking them up just like during the earthquake and tsunami of 2011 that destroyed a Japanese reactor and created the nuclear crisis in Fukushima, Japan.
The Fourth Angel next sounded his trumpet and the moon, stars, and sun were all darkened. This passage can be found in direct comparison with Matthew 24:29. Matthew Chapter 24 is a parallel passage to Revelation 8. The events of Matthew 24 describe the coming events of the Great Tribulation only.

Revelation Chapter 8 ends in verse 13 when we are told that yet another Angel was heard with a loud voice saying the words: “woe, woe, woe.” In other words, the first four trumpets were meant as a warning, and the next three will be much more horrific than the first four.

I guess everyone will just simply put off the trumps of Revelation as Global Warming???

I praise Yahweh for my faith in the true God of the universe and pray for all to earnestly seek his face; 2 Chronicles 7:14.

The End Of The Tribulation Revelation 8:1-5

To see Revelation 8:1-5 without my comments click HERE.

When the Messiah opened the Seventh Seal there was silence. To me this silence is significant because I am the type of person that believes that such things are put in the Bible for a reason, and not just put in there randomly for trivial reasons. Although we may not immediately know the reason, we are promised to find the answer if we are patient and seek the truth; James 1:5Proverbs 25:2.  Because Revelation 8:1 states the word “about” it obviously means it is an estimate of time. While searching for an explanation of this time, I found that Howard B. Rand's book “A Study In Revelation” Pg. 74, offers the best explanation of the meaning of this half hour of time. Dr. Rand states: “It's important to realize that heaven is a symbol of the Kingdom. Then this silence would refer to quietness or peace for a short time in the Kingdom.“

There are two possible explanations in relationship to this half hour of silence in relationship to this time: 1. If it is the prophetic hour of fifteen years, then this half hour could represent as little as 7 ½ days of peace. 2. If however at the other extreme, if this time is based upon the great hour, or a one twenty-fourth part of the time that Israel would be dispersed among the nations (2520 years), then a half hour could represent fifty-two and a half years. Either way, no matter your interpretation of what this term "half hour" is, the time is significant because the 144,000 of the tribes of Israel will be numbered and will pass safely beyond the danger zone, just prior to the following trumps. The Numbering and sealing of Israel ends the Great Tribulation, which is the test for the Israelite saints to see who remains faithful to Father Yahweh and his laws during these 3 1/2 years. One of the reasons we know it's the end of the Great Tribulation is because the parallel passage of Matthew 24:29 talks about the moon and stars not giving their light, compare this to Revelation 8:12, but more on this later...

There were 7 angels that stood before God. The true Biblical definition of angel is one that is a messenger. One angel (a different type of angel Strong's #243) makes intercession for Israel with a censer that contained the incense (prayers) of the saints. This intercession is the direct answering of the cries of the martyrs of the Fifth Seal of Revelation 6:9-10. This different angel (messenger) is none other than Yashua Messiah, our Mediator that makes intercession between Israel and God; Romans 8:34, Romans 11:2

The description of this ceremony is an Israelite ceremony that is conducted by a High Priest before the Holy of Holies in a Tabernacle or in Temple worship. The Messiah is our Passover lamb that makes intercession to Father Yahweh on Israel's behalf. Prior to the Messiah becoming our kinsman redeemer, a priest had to make intercession for us using an unblemished lamb with the expressed purpose of transferring our sins to the lamb. This also demonstrated earnest expectations for the Messiah coming at a future time; Exodus 30:22-38.

Praise the Lord everyone!
