Should Christians Obey The Law?

We are living in a time when those who call themselves “Christian” are perplexed by the laws of man. They know down deep spiritually that mans laws are against the laws of Yahweh, but are told that following the laws of man is the right thing to do. The people that I wholeheartedly believe are responsible for putting this lie out and causing the confusion of people, are spiritual advisors of Christians, namely the modern day Baal priests who fill the pulpits of the Governmental 501c3 churches and work directly with the Government for the specific purpose of simply just keeping the status quo. This idea has come to light in the media recently when a pastor of a church in Washington State told his congregation to blindly follow the Government and call 911 on their neighbors. To see what I am talking about click HERE.

The fuel that propels this train of misinformation is through the misinterpretation of Romans Chapter 13 Verses one and two that state:

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.”

On the surface the preceding two verses would seem to indicate that we should obey all the laws that men make. The above verses make little sense when put in their proper context by reading verses 3 and 4 of the same chapter.

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same. For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger in execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.” Romans 13:3-4

Of course when the preachers that teach Christians to give themselves over to mans government are confronted with verses 3 and 4 they become silent. This is because there is nothing in mans earthly government that remotely sounds like anything in verses 3-4. Another point to be made is that there are many examples of people not following the laws of man throughout the Bible.
This is only a partial list: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3, The midwives of Exodus 1, Moses in Exodus 2:5-14, Rahab of Joshua 2, Daniel in Daniel Chapter 6, all the Apostles in Acts Chapter 4-5, and of course there are others.

Follow mans laws only when it doesn't go against the Bible.
Obeying the law is a way that keeps order in society. So obeying God's law isn't so much of disobeying the laws of man but rather it's obeying the laws of the Father in promoting his kingdom here on earth, it's just that simple. Obeying mans law is something we should do as long as it doesn't go against the Fathers laws. Any Christian that follows mans laws before they follow Yah's laws are submitting themselves to every Anti-Christ that comes along. The thought that exists going into Romans 13 can be found a few verses before Romans 13:1-2 in Romans 12:18 where the bible states that if possible, live in peace with all men. An example of living in peace with men while at the same time without breaking Yah's laws could be the speed limit law while driving. If mans law is 35 on a particular road and a Christian seems to think it should be able to drive 55, then the Christian is obligated to drive the speed limit of 35 MPH that is posted.

However mans laws that force you to go directly against the laws of God, and that go directly against the spirit of God such as being drafted into the military to fight an ungodly war in other countries with people that have done absolutely to us nor our country is wrong and is called murder. This particular example is a black and white example and is not something that falls in the gray category because it goes directly against the commandments of God.

There are 614 laws that we are to live by as Christians such as simply putting a handrail on a rooftop when working on a roof, or the dietary food laws of eating pork that directly effect health both of which are not commandments, but rather are laws that effect you health and well being.
If you do such things then do not blame Yahweh if you become injured or sick and die of trichinosis.

As always I encourage all to not just take my word for anything, but rather want all to study for themselves as Yahweh's holy spirit would lead them.

For those who have the desire to read more about this subject I recommend the book by Ted Weiland and is called "Christian Duty Under Corrupt Government."

Praise the Lord!
