The Sixth Seal Revelation 6: 12-17

Next, the Messiah then opened the sixth seal which produced the Day of Wrath for the world. The exact events of these verses describe: Revolution. Upheaval. Convulsion. Consternation. Sun Darkened. Stars Falling. Heavens Rolled up. Mountains and Islands Removed. Kings and Peoples Frightened.

Verse 12-13, events appeared in the heavens that were unmistakable to the world. The sun became black and the moon became as blood. There were stars that fell to earth (meteors or falling stars), which is compared to figs being shaken from a tree. I also believe, as a matter of speculation and conjecture, that there will be also be signs in the heavens for the remnant of Israel to both interpret and understand the times, admittedly my explanation would be both lengthy and vague (see my post about The Biblical Zodiac, and compare to Genesis 37:9 and Revelation 12:1-4) for a general understanding.

This “tree shaking” is obviously an event by Father Yahweh which is purposely produced to gain the attention of the entire planet. Although people may be frightened from such events, they still do not repent because of being carnally minded; Romans 8:7. The wording in the Bible of the sky doing abnormal things such as found in Revelation 6 is also found in other places to describe the Judgement of God being poured out on nations that do not repent; Isaiah 34:4, Joel 2:30-31, and Acts 2:20.

in Verse 14 the falling of the stars produced earthquakes that will move both mountains and islands. On March 27, 1964 an earthquake in Anchorage, Alaska literally moved mountains from one place to another. Because of the severity of this earthquake, the entire city of Anchorage had to be resurveyed.

In Verse 15 the rich men of the world hid in underground bunkers and wherever they believed that they could be safe from these events. This event just as other stress causing events have a natural tendency to make people realize that there is a God at the exact time it happens, as a result, they put faith in God and repent on the spot. Examples of what I am talking about include military people in combat zones when we all have heard many times that “there are no atheists in foxholes.” Another example that readily comes to mind is the false flag events of 911 when terrorists collapsed world trade center buildings 1,2, and 7 with thermite. The 911 event made a lot of people go to the church to try to find answers. The 911 crowd that sought after God didn't stay the course most likely because it's difficult if not impossible to find true faith in the modern Judeo-Christian churches because it is not taught from the pulpits; Romans 10:17, James 2:20. Faith isn't just handed to you on a silver platter while you sit in a bench seat (pew) at some local church. Often times you have to go to a lot of different churches and wade your way through many Psudeo-Christian churches before you can find one that even remotely come close to teaching the ways and laws of Father Yahweh and the role that Israel has in the world. Israelites that seek wisdom are promised they will find it; James 1:1-5, while at the same time that those of Israel are promised to be destroyed for both a lack of finding true knowledge, and for not following the laws of Yahweh; Hosea 4:6.

Verse 16 The people who believed that they were going to die, knew it was the hand of God that was in control because eventually they do gain enough faith for them to actually want mountains and rocks to fall on them to get it over with so they won't have to face God. The wording of people wanting rocks to fall on them is also used to describe the judgement of the Lord in Luke23:30., and the term was used in Hosea 10:8 to describe the events of the Assyrian Captivity 745-721 B.C.

Most people believe that Christians will be raptured off the planet before all these events of the Tribulation in Revelation. Anyone that follows this blog will know that I do not believe this, Christians will go through trying events in their lifetimes to test their faith. The elect of Israel will know this during this time, but will not fear these events because they know God is in control of all; Isaiah 45:7. When you walk daily with God by dying to your carnal nature and following his word, what you have is called faith. Faith is the opposite of fear, and you will have one or the other. Although it is my opinion that Christians will go through the Great Tribulation, the Christians that actually follow Yah in; 2 Chronicles 7:14, will not suffer under the Wrath of God by following his directives. An example of what I am talking about is when the Israelites were in Egypt, they avoided the wrath of God by following Yahweh's directives as given by the Prophet Moses; Exodus 12:12,29.

The very reason that I use the example of Exodus 12 is because I believe these events very well may effect the children of those who are not willing to follow the directives of Yahweh. In the parallel scriptures to Chapter 6 of Revelation it say wo to those with children. The ability to feed yourself will not be there because of the famine from the opening of the Third Seal; Revelation 6:5-6, never the less the ability of parents to feed children will not exist. Matthew24:19, Mark 13:17, Luke 21:23, and Luke23:29.

After all this, these catastrophic events will still not make the world follow the laws of God because there are not enough people to teach the world the ways and laws of God; Luke 10:2.
