Genesis 35 and men wearing woman's jewelry

To see Genesis 35:1-15 without my comments click HERE.

After the slaying of the city of Shechem, Father Yahweh told Jacob to return to Bethel. This is the same place that Jacob stayed when he was running from Esau his brother. There Jacob is instructed to make an altar. The Canaanites were not going to chase after Jacob because they were fearful.  They knew only two of his sons slew everyone in the city of Shechem and quite probably the family of Jacob as a whole could do a lot more damage on many Canaanite cities than just these two sons. The Canaanites also knew of the history of Abraham when 318 of Abraham's men attacked the kings that took Lot hostage when the kings came against Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 14. The book of Jasher put the figure at 645 of Shechems men that Simeon and Levi slew.

Because of this event the Father scattered the tribes of Simeon and Levi among the Israelite nations Genesis 49:5-6.

Immediately after this event, Jacob told his household to put away strange gods, to change their clothes, and remove their earrings from their ears. There in the land of Shechem, he buried the earrings and other things that would be offensive to the Father.
In v. 9-12 the Father reaffirms the everlasting unconditional vow he made with Jacob at Bethel earlier, and in v11 Jacob is told to be fruitful and multiply. If Israelites were to heed just this one thing that was commanded by the Father then the Israelites would still continue to be a multitude of nations and the world would continue to be blessed today. Most Israelites have bought the lie that the world is overpopulated and for some reason they believe if they adopt hybrid children somehow it's a Christian act. It's only in Babylon that the pagan practice of birth control should be practiced by heathens.
If wearing one earring means your half gay then what does it mean when you wear two earrings? Please do not use the old worn out excuse that earrings are not gay because the bold and adventurist pirates of old wore earrings. We all know that all the pirates of old were men with no women on board and they were out to sea for long periods of time with no women. Is this really the example you want to use to promote the idea to adorn yourself as a woman?

What the Bible says about men wearing earrings...
The removal of earrings of Jacob's family was to purify themselves and was so that nothing was standing between them and the Father. One may look at this removal of the earrings as something that didn't have to do because so many men wear jewelry made for women today, but if you look at the Bible you will see that there are no examples where men are to wear earrings. There are examples of women wearing earrings such as in the parable of Ezekiel 16 where the bride of Christ (Israel) is thrown into a field and has earrings put on her v12. Another example is when in Genesis 24 Abraham's servant put an earring on Rachael.

And I should add...
The NIV version, or Non-Inspired-Version as I call it, claims that Abraham's servant put an earring in Rachael's nose in Chapter 24, which is not an accurate translation.
NIV Version Gen 24:47 I asked her, "Whose daughter are you?" She said, "The daughter of Bethuel son of Nahor, whom Milkah bore to him." Then I put the ring in her nose and bracelets on her arms.

I think they call those with a nose ring these days either Goth or Emo. I can promise you that Rachael was neither of these and the NIV is a lousy translation.

It's also worth mentioning that the bible does tell us not to tattoo ourselves nor cut our skin in Leviticus 19:28.

Although I believe there are errors in all Bibles, I believe the King James Bible is the most accurate translation that is readily available for the public.

I pray all will keep Yashua messiah (Jesus) first in they do!
